Termite Attack in Bangsar House ! Does termite attack by area?

Does Termite attack specific housing areas in Malaysia? To answer that question it is YES and NO. Why is that so? Termites is present all over in South East Asia and that includes the whole of Malaysia. However, termites are more prone in certain areas such as ex palm oil estates, ex agricultural land and etc. The content of soil (minerals) and etc differs from certain types of soil.

Look at this house located in an upscale neighborhood in Bangsar!

It is common that termites attack underneath staircase in most houses which would most likely be the store area. Why is that? We speculate that this area is always untouched, cool temperature, less human activity, wiring and electrical box are usually installed here !

This house in Bangsar has been empty for awhile but and neighbours were complaining with termite activities all around the year. We suspected the empty house closeby and reached out to the owner and voila, we found this perfect termite setting for their activities. Items in the house were still intact but extremely minimal human activity were present!

Trendy Cheap Boards are made into bookshelves, cabinets and some common household furnitures. These are common in households in Malaysia but these board and super easy to be broken down by termites.

Books were mostly all eaten up by termites. Yes termites love Books. They don't read them but eat and digest them!

Termites travel around the house via Mud Tubes. This is their path for them to source and forage for items to damage in your property!

Mudtubes were found everywhere in the house. From piano to picture frames, lighting and etc
