This year, King Edward VII School will receive a new replacement block. The school is the first school in Malaysia to use a termite reticulation system to protect the new block under the Public Works Department (Jabatan Kerja Raya - JKR)
The Termite Reticulation System by Kilstant was selected to be used as a building material to prevent termite entry after the system and company & system were identified as reputable and eligible to be installed in the newly constructed block

Special termite piping system are neatly distributed and installed to protect every all the key component areas of the structure to maximize mitigation and management of termite entry.
Termite Reticulation System Installation (Kilstant)
The Kilstant system is installed on both sides of the beam structure so that the system spreads the termiticides on both sides and protects the building structure completely and maximally. The installation of this system is monitored by the Kilstant team & crew. We have deep expertise and understanding. The Kilstant system cannot be disclosed and there is a specific way to cover the system after the test (flow test).
This system is tested after installation for the flow test and also after the slab grade with a test injection point. The system must be tested so that there are no blockages. If there is a blockage and the termite poison does not flow or kick back, then the system is not installed correctly or is clogged.
The Public Works Department came to the site to monitor and inspect this termite reticulation system and understand the correct installation method. The Department & Consultant are satisfied with the installation of this system
Public Works Department officers and consultants inspect the system in detail if the termite reticulation system is installed in detail and according to the specified method statement. Such inspections are important to ensure strict QA / QC for building materials especially the system that will be installed and permanently closed after the building is erected.
