Every time it rains especially in Malaysia, termites are bound to be more aggressive in their movement and expansion off their nest.
Why is this so?
This is because termites favour the dampness and they are more active during this period. They emerge out when humidity is high, cool and this is the period where swarmers starts to appear.
Have you notice this flying ants also known as Swarmers attracted to this light bulbs outside your home, streetlight, inside your home? These are termites that are yet to mature before starting their colony.
Once they have lose their wings, these flying ants, swarmers will start their termite colony. During the swarmer stage, they are harmless, but once their termite colony begins, they are capable of causing catastrophic damage to your property
